I work with people who are having difficulties such as depression, anxiety, feeling stuck or sad or lost, and experiencing problems with relationships or intimacy. It might be that these have come about recently due to a life event, or perhaps they’ve always been there in some form, but now feels like the time to act. I will provide you with a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space to explore the issues and their causes, and help you to gain understanding to make the changes you seek.
I’m an experienced and BACP-registered psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor in private practice. I work in St Albans, online and in my other practice in Farringdon, London EC1.
What I Offer
I work with individual adults (18-plus). I can help with anxiety; depression and low mood; relationship difficulties; low self-esteem; issues around intimacy; shame and guilt; loss and bereavement; workplace issues such as bullying or stress; and questions of identity.
I believe that your current situation is best understood in the light of what happened in your past and in your early life relationships, and that by understanding the experiences that shaped you, we can make the changes you’re looking for in the present day.
I offer once-weekly sessions of 50-minutes each, and we will discuss together whether an open-ended or time-limited approach feels most appropriate for your situation.
