About Me
Hello and welcome, I’m Carrie. I am a registered psychodynamic psychotherapist based in St Albans for face to face online weekly therapy sessions.
Specialities
I am experienced working with trauma specifically domestic abuse, sexual abuse and childhood abuse and aim to create a space of safety in the therapy for us to think about your experiences and feelings.
I also have extensive experience of working with sex workers/adult industry workers and understand that you may feel misunderstood and isolated which is compounded by societies stigma.
I can support you with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues, self-harm, eating disorders, intimacy issues.
What I Offer
Do you find that life feels heavy? Or relationships feel difficult? Perhaps you are finding you are experiencing anxiety in day-to-day life? I provide a non-judgemental, confidential and safe space to explore emotions, relationships and life experiences. We can think about your past and present, creating a feeling of safety and processing the pain. There is no agenda or way that the sessions “should look,” it is a space for us to reflect and explore whatever you want to discuss at a pace that suits you. I won’t provide the answers but I will walk with you, shining the torch on the path ahead as we embark on the journey to discover them together.
