About Me
I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist who enjoys working with children, teenagers and adults. I offer private therapy in St Albans on Mondays and work the rest of the week as the Psychology Lead for a Paediatric Psychology Service at a District NHS Hospital.
What I Offer
I offer psychological assessment, therapy and supervision. Initially I aim to get to know you and establish the factors that may be leading to and maintaining the difficulties you have been experiencing.
The therapies I draw upon include Narrative approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
In my work and training I have developed specialist skills to help people who have experienced traumatic life events, and those who are adjusting to and managing physical health conditions and complex situations. I am committed to helping people manage difficulties associated with PTSD, complex psychological trauma and the difficult emotions that arise when living with a health condition.
I have worked within mental health services in the NHS since 2005.
