About Me

Dr Meetu Singh is a leading consultant psychiatrist based in Birmingham, London and Bristol, as well as Edinburgh, Greater Manchester and Southampton. She specialises in mood disorders, anxiety disorders including PTSD, OCD and GAD, and ADHD, as well as sleep disorders, non-epileptic attack disorder and conversion disorders. She practices privately at Oaktree Connect clinic, where she is the founder and CEO, and Smart TMS clinics in Birmingham, London, Bristol, Edinburgh, Manchester and Southampton.

Dr Singh is highly qualified, with an MBBS, MRCPsych, MSc in Neuropsychiatry and a PGCBT. After completing core psychiatry at Reading and Oxford, she went on to complete her higher training in the West Midlands Deanery.

She embraces new and traditional evidence based practices for treatment of psychiatric and physical health disorders, whilst developing cutting edge digital technology for delivery of these services.

Dr Singh is a respected name in leadership and has been a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ (West Midlands Division) Regional Executive Committee since February 2011. She passionately campaigns for mental health and the stigma associated with it, and was involved in Mind charity’s Time to Change campaign from 2014 until it ended in 2021.

She has significant experience of working in the NHS, and was a specialist registrar at Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust for over 6 years. There, she specialised in treatment for eating disorders, liaison psychiatry and community psychiatry alongside acute inpatient and home treatment psychiatry.

Dr Singh has had her reports published in peer reviewed journals, and has presented at various national conferences. She’s also a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
