About Me
I’m a Clinical Psychologist & EMDR Therapist with expertise in working with adults, adolescents, and children. I currently share my time between NHS and Independent Private Practice.
Clinical Psychologists are trained to draw from several therapeutic approaches to work with a range of mental health difficulties and other problems that may arise in life (i.e. relationship difficulties, life transitions, and difficulties arising from physical health problems). My main therapeutic approach draws from EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). I also provide parent work and draw from Systemic and Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) approaches.
I’ve outlined a few of my specialisms and services that I offer below. If there is a particular issue that I’ve not listed that you would like help with, please do contact me to discuss further.
To find out if what I practice would be of use to you, I offer a free initial 10-15 minute consultation to discuss the issues you would like help with. If I am unable to help, I will likely signpost you towards a service that can.
