About Me

I am a registered Family & Systemic Psychotherapist (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy member – UKCP & Association for Family Therapy member – AFT) with over 15 years experience working with individuals, couples, families and kinship networks.

For individuals systemic psychotherapy can help you make sense of the relationship between your distress and the world you live in. How your relationships and social context might be impacting how you make sense of yourself and others.

For families, couples and partnerships it can help people better understand each other, to help people express and explore difficult thoughts and emotions safely. Sometimes people feel stuck or need help to make sense of repeating patterns of unhelpful, destructive or hurtful behaviours.

What I Offer

I work with individuals, couples, partnerships, parents and/or family relationships on a wide range of difficulties such as;

• Living beyond abuse or adverse experiences
• Renegotiating or rediscovering relationships
• Feelings of depression, sadness, emptiness or excessive worry
• Managing intense and difficult emotions
• Making and sustaining relationships
• Overcoming anxiety
• Coming to terms with bereavement, loss, infidelity, separation, illness
• Negotiating aspects of identity such as gender or sexual orientation
• Parenting
