About Me

Kate graduated with a BSc in Acupuncture from the University of Westminster in 1998, and has been in private practice ever since. While Kate offers treatments for the full range of medical conditions, she has always been passionate about supporting women through transitional stages of life. This includes their hormonal health, fertility, pregnancy, childbirth and through menopausal journeys. In 2012, Kate set up a multi-bed unit at the NHS Lister Hospital in Stevenage to offer low-cost care to women in pregnancy.

Later in her career, Kate developed a passion for passing on her knowledge and experience to the next generation of acupuncturists. After qualifying in supervision, Kate now has over a decade of experience providing supervision and mentoring to acupuncturists and all therapeutic healthcare professionals. In recent years, Kate has been lecturing to aspiring acupuncturists at the City College of Acupuncture in London. Here she also provides post graduate training to students and new acupuncturists, helping them to become resilient healthcare individuals.

Outside of teaching, Kate provides workshops in London to promote the importance of seasonal eating and living, providing tools to live in tune with nature in order to optimise health. Online recordings of these lectures are available to download on her website. Kate offers retreats to the beautiful Greek seaside, encouraging people to rediscover their natural rhythm and health. She also offers weekend time-out trips to Hitchin, Harpenden.

What I Offer

During a treatment with Kate, she offers not only Acupuncture but a wide holistic approach to treatment which encompasses massage, dietary and lifestyle therapy according to Traditional Chinese Medicine theory.
