About Me
I am dual qualified as a Mental Health Social Worker and Psychotherapist with over 30 years’ experience working with an extensive range of mental health conditions in the NHS and Counselling services such as MIND, Solace Women’s Aid, Women and Health and IAPT primary care. I have trained in a variety of therapies, including Person-Centred, Psychodynamic and Trauma-focussed approaches, so can individually tailor the therapy to meet your specific needs and goals.
I am also a qualified Reiki practitioner, which is very effective in helping clients manage the symptoms of Anxiety and stress, as well as providing an excellent pain management treatment for longer-term physical health conditions.
What I Offer
I provide a safe, warm and empathic therapeutic space for you to talk and be fully heard and understood. My approach is one of non-judgemental respect, kindness and compassion.
I will enable you to release emotionally distressing experiences and buried feelings in a contained and manageable way, so that you can regain the ability to think clearly and make empowering decisions for yourself. Our sessions together will help you to develop new coping strategies and find solutions to your areas of concern. This journey of recovery and healing will bring about positive changes in your wellbeing, significantly improving your self-confidence and self-esteem.
