About Me
Hello. My name is Peter Royal. I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor/psychotherapist and a registered British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) member.
I am currently working for an organisation that specialises in working with men, boys, trans and non-binary individuals who have experienced sexual abuse, rape or sexual violence. Prior to this, I worked for the NHS providing short-term counselling for those with a wide range of presenting problems, including anxiety, depression, relationship, work-related issues and race.

What I Offer
Finding a counsellor can feel overwhelming and daunting, particularly for someone seeking professional help for the first time. I can offer you a safe, non-judgmental and confidential space to help you understand what you are experiencing. My therapeutic goal is to provide a relationship whereby you can safely explore your inner world, better understand yourself and your relationships and become empowered to live a whole, authentic life. I try to see the world through your eyes and understand things from your perspective through meaning-making with a strong emphasis on being client-led.
