I am a qualified therapeutic counsellor and believe that building a positive relationship with ourselves is the key foundation stone to improving our mental wellbeing. This is challenging work and can mean connecting with parts of ourselves that feel vulnerable and have been protected for years. I work predominantly from a person-centred approach, so it is important to me that clients feel safe to bring their whole self into our sessions. I approach this work with curious compassion and look to use approaches that best support my clients, be that purely talking therapy, CBT techniques or creative exercises.
